Wedding & Event Painting Services
We offer a range of packages at Dearlove Studios to ensure that there is something for everyone.
Each package includes an initial consultation to discuss the client's vision. We can work from your favourite photograph or attend your event where we take photographs to paint from.
If we attend the event, we will complete a sketch on the day then spend time adding final touches in our studio to ensure the painting is perfect! This process takes around six weeks.
Your painting will be created using professional oil paints & quality canvas.

Bronze Package
$1500 (NZD)
- Painted from photo provided by client
(not painted live at event)
- 300 x 400mm (12 x 16") quality canvas
- Consult prior to the beginning of painting
- Use of premium paints, canvas and varnish
- Painting will be completed in approximately 6 weeks following consult

Silver Package
$1850 (NZD)
- Painted from photo provided by client

- 406 x 508mm (16 x 20"") quality canvas
- Consult prior to the beginning of painting
- Use of premium paints, canvas and varnish
- Painting will be completed in approximately 6 weeks following consult

Gold Package
$2500 (NZD)
- 4 hours of painting at venue plus 2 hours set up and photographing ceremony
- 406 x 508mm (16 x 20") quality canvas
- Consult prior to event
- Use of premium paints, canvas and varnish
- Painting will be completed in approximately 6 weeks following the event
Event Painting Terms of Service
- Dearlove Studios is based in Christchurch, New Zealand
- We will consider travelling to events around the country, but a travel fee will apply outside of Christchurch City District
- Clients secure their painting with a 30% deposit & signed contract after consultation
- Canvas sizes listed are approximated sizes and can be adjusted to fit client's vision
- Oil painting is a process that takes time to complete and dry and we take pride in achieving the highest standards of our craft
